Soil selection Before cultivating pomegranate, you have to choose the ground carefully so that you can get good fruit. Climate:

There are many species of pomegranate: -
Ganesh: - The flowering of this species is produced in large quantities. The size of Ganesh variety of fruits is normal. The fruits of this variety are grown mostly in the province of Maharashtra.
Muscat: - The type of fruits found in this variety is small and its upper peels are thick. Its seeds are soft and the juices are very sweet.
Dholka: - The fruits of the Dholka species flourish in very large quantities simultaneously. The color of its peel is mostly white / green. Its grain looks like pink and white.
Jalore / Bedana: - The size of the fruits found in this species is large. Its peels are of dark red color and the seeds are very soft.
Apart from all these, there are many other species of pomegranates, such as: Basin irons which are mostly grown in Karnataka, Ruby, Mridula etc.
Plant planting:
About 50 to 60 cm before planting the plant. Deep pit should be dug.
Then start the process of planting the plant in that pit.
At the time of planting the plant should be spaced at least 5 meters between two plants.
Prepare manure for pomegranate cultivation:
While cultivating pomegranate, rotten cow dung manure mixed with organic manure should be given to the plant at least twice a year.
